Overview:
The device is mainly designed and manufactured for AC withstand voltage test of all main electrical equipment such as 110kV and below power transformer. Multiple reactors are designed separately, which can not only meet the requirements of equipment test conditions with high voltage and small current, but also meet the requirements of low voltage AC withstand voltage test such as 10kV cable. It has a wide range of application. It is an ideal withstand voltage equipment for high-voltage test departments, power installation and repair engineering units at local, municipal and county levels.
The device is mainly composed of variable frequency power supply, excitation transformer, reactor and capacitor voltage divider.

Advantages of series resonance applied in power system
1. The required power capacity is greatly reduced. In the whole system, the power supply only needs to provide the part of active power consumption in the system. Therefore, the power required for the test is only 1 / Q of the test capacity.
2. The weight and volume of the equipment is greatly reduced. In the series resonant power supply, not only the bulky high-power voltage regulator and common high-power power frequency test transformer are omitted, but also the resonant excitation power supply only needs 1 / Q of the test capacity, which greatly reduces the weight and volume of the system, which is generally 1 / 10-1 / 30 of the ordinary test device.
3. Improve the output voltage waveform. The resonant power supply is a resonant filter circuit, which can improve the waveform distortion of the output voltage, obtain a good sinusoidal waveform, and effectively prevent the false breakdown of the harmonic peak to the sample.
4. Prevent large short circuit current from burning the fault point. In the series resonance state, when the insulation weakness of the test object is broken down, the circuit will immediately de harmonic and the loop current will rapidly drop to 1 / Q of the normal test current. However, when parallel resonance or test transformer is used for withstand voltage test, the breakdown current will rise tens of times immediately. Compared with the two methods, the short-circuit current and the breakdown current are hundreds of times different. Therefore, the series resonance can effectively find the insulation weakness, and there is no worry that the large short-circuit current burns the fault point.
5. There will be no recovery overvoltage. When the sample breaks down, due to the loss of resonance conditions, the high voltage will disappear immediately, and the arc will extinguish immediately. Moreover, the process of re establishing the recovery voltage is very long. It is easy to disconnect the power supply before reaching the flashover voltage again. The recovery process of this voltage is a kind of intermittent oscillation process of energy accumulation, which is long, and there will be no recovery overvoltage.
